Hands up anyone who thinks people actually paid $ for their monocle
This whole idea is idiotic because 99% of you fail to understand how the NeX store works.
All you're doing is making the people who paid 1.5bil ISK! (you know, fake internet moneys) laugh and enjoy the attention, its no wonder more are buying monocles -----------------

I am sure you can tell us how NeX store works?
Well some derpa derps fail to understand you turn PLEX into AUR, not $ into AUR, meaning $ or ISK can be turned into AUR and zero RL money spent.
So instead of giving everything in NeX store a $ value it can just as easily be given an ISK value.
But seriously explaining that to the emoragingnerds is impossibleh. Half are convinced everythings bought with $ and the other half are in game poor and really want a monocle -----------------

How is Aurum created? By consuming a PLEX. How are PLEX created? By paying real-life money.
How are NeX items created? By consuming Aurum. Therefor: NeX items are always paid for with real money, it's just not always the person using it that pays for it. Kinda like a coffin, which is a fitting analogy for this thread.
So let me get this straight, people are emoraging because you can now buy PLEX with ISK from someone who spent RL money to get yourself a monocle but DIDNT care that for the last few years you could sell PLEX for ISK and use it to buy yourself a pimp faction BS?
Ze mind, it boggles. -----------------

nono, its because they assume that CCP is going to add ships with better stats
that can only be bought in NeX store
(Ishukone scorpion) (without the consumtion of a regular scorpion)
And you could still buy them with ISK, what makes them different than expensive faction ships? -----------------

No that is not the issue.
And what is? In game advantage for $? oh wait anything in NeX store can be bought with $ or ISK.
So what exactly is the issue?
Monocles costing too much ISK? Rise in PLEX price? (which is offset by the high ISK price so demand didnt skyrocket) People being morons?
My ISK's on the latter.
Blane, get angry instead of explaining yourself, it totally helps, give a clear reason why its a bad thing -----------------

I explained myself and you failed to understand. It's not my problem if you're an idiot; and I'm certainly not going to hide that fact if you cannot understand something as simple as "If plex have to be consumed to bring an item into the game it cannot truly be bought with only ingame currency and thus is a microtransaction"
Comparing people selling PLEX for ISK pre incarna to people buying PLEX for isk and converting to Aurum post incarna is like comparing a rock to a tree.
You didnt explain anything you said
"This is bad"
Without ANY coherent reason why.
Wanna calm down long enough to explain why, otherwise yous just going to be ignored. I'd love to hear an explanation, otherwise you appear to just hate MT for no other reason than because its MT and RL money is consumed and look like another idiot emorager.

Micro-transaction items require virtually no input from the sandbox to create. For example, a ship magically created removes all the potential game play that the production of that ship would have required from the sandbox.
This removal of game play, of value, is taken from the noob miner to the 0.0 miner, to the can flipper to the hot dropper and his 23 SuperCap friends out on a Sunday afternoon drive. Each micro-transaction created item takes a tiny bit from everyone, as more and more MT items are created, those tiny bits add up until the sandbox has no meaning.
Purely cosmetic vanity items, although they could have an impact on certain aspects of the sandbox, they have a far less value at a mechanical level, and thus, have far less mechanical impact on the sandbox.
Although some argue PLEX is a micro-transaction, this is demonstrably false. The ISK for which that PLEX is sold, was collected by someone in the game doing whatever it is they do. Thy put forth an effort and got a reward of ISK. They then trade that ISK for a PLEX. The guy who sold the PLEX now has the ISK, and the other guy has the PLEX. Nothing was added or removed from the sandbox, except the need for one or both of them to break the EULA. CCP profits and the players profit from PLEX.
The only ones who profit from MTs are CCP, and they do so not only at the expense of the $Cash spender, but of everyone in the game that now no longer has the opportunity to participate in the creation of the MT created items.
MTs are theft.
And if AUR items only buy you the BPC and has to be built just like a faction ship how does it make an AUR bought item differ from a faction one?
Its a flawed argument, the ships would be so expensive they wouldnt impact the t1/t2 industry anymore than faction/officer mods affect it. If their price was on par with tournament prizes you'd almost never seen them.
Especially considering warfare in EvE is all about ISK efficiency, you lose one AUR bought ship in a fleet the t1 BS fleet you just fought wins. -----------------

If you need someone to sit you down, and explain point by point why Microtransactions are ****ing horrible, and are slowly killing off intelligent development then you're even more clueless than I originally gave you credit for.
Yes, I'm purely and entirely against microtransactions. Why? Because time spent developing anything you're charging more money for could be time spent developing content for the game you're already charging a subscription for. And don't give me the age-old "Developers of X don't do Y" because it does not apply to content vs content.
If you continue to spout
MT IS BAD YOU'RE AN IDIOT RABBLE RABBLE
your point, whatever it may be will be continued to be ignored.
Edit: For crystal clear clarification, in game examples of negative gameplay effects, lets assume for now CCP will moniter PLEX prices so they dont spiral out of control. -----------------
